Rendez vous was made at La Maison d’être , from 7pm for a food and wine tasting session about the Languedoc Roussillon.

 I was  nervous and very exciting at the same time.

At 7pm Danira and Vicky arrived, then Yvelin, Deon and Caroline, and finally Andrea.

We started with a glass of Blanquette de Limoux, les sieur d’Arques

Olive’s cake with a glass of Muscat de Rivesaltes, Chateau de Calces 2009

The third wine was a Minervois la Livinière, Gérard Bertrand, 2009

AOC since 1999

the fourth wine was an amazing Pic St loup, bergerie de l’Hortus, 2010, not yet an AOC: It is a shame!!

Very delicate, a gentleman to our table!

Our guest for the dessert was a chocolate brownie accompanied with slides of mango and lime…

…and a glass of Banyuls, I like to say is a liquid black cherry, the blend of the brownie and the wine could be defined as a “Forêt Noire” cake!

No nervous anymore, we had a lot of fun, Thank to all of you!!
