It’s a french beer from the brasserie Thiriez at Esquelbecq first made in 1999 to inaugurate a statue of the rouge flamande cow (the oldest breed of milch cow from the north of france). At the end of the day the success has been so important that it still exists as the flemish speciality. The bottle is easy to recognise with its red label. I use this beer to cook the Flemish stew and to drink with! The foam is light with roasted hazelnuts taste.
